It’s interesting technology and we both agreed we were glad we tried it out but once was enough. We recommend that you google how the holograms were made.they were based on body doubles (not live footage of Buddy or Roy transformed into holograms). The most interesting part was the small rock and roll band that accompanied the show.the two female backup singers were somewhat annoying as they swayed through the whole show but the audience could not do the same. The historical interlude footage on big screens was a nice idea but the spoken words were not understandable and the written text was too small and flashed by too quickly if you were not seated close to the front.
The audience politely sat as still as attending an opera and dutifully applauded after each song. There is no audience interaction like a typical concert and this is more like watching a concert on your home tv. The first 15 minutes were interesting from a technology standpoint.but it became rather boring. My review here is solely related to this particular concert.we thought it was an interesting concept and tickets were only $35. The Mystic Showroom is a wonderful venue and we enjoy concerts there.
